Lufthansa Business Class Cabin – Boeing 747

Lufthansa is the largest German and overall European airline.  Their main hubs are at Frankfurt (FRA) and Munich (MUC) International Airports and they are one of the five founding members of the Star Alliance.

Their Boeing 747 Business Class Cabin is on an upper deck comprised of 8 rows in a 2-2 configuration.  Each seat converts to a lie flat bed between 78” in length and 20” wide.  The cabin white and blue with tan and metallic accents and open pod-style seating.

Features and Amenities

Before you arrive you are invited to enjoy one of the Lufthansa Business Class Lounges, and if you are in Frankfurt, the luxurious Welcome Lounge with a full bistro and large private shower rooms awaits your.  Priority customs, boarding, and baggage is also available.

In your pod, your seat reclines fully with a comfy mattress cover, pillows, and soft warm blanket.  There is plenty of stowage space, a footrest, and tray table with touch remote control and noise cancelling headphones hidden in your armrest.

Each seat is equip with power outlets, USB and HDMI ports, and an HD monitor with touchscreen remote for in-flight entertainment.

You will also receive a luxury amenity kit featuring skin care from L’Occitane.

Dining

Lufthansa’s dining in the sky is referred to as “restaurant service” with the motto ‘Exclusivity born of tradition. Excellence born of passion.’  They offer a rotating seasonal menu that can be pre-selected up to 24 hours before your flight.  They also have a selection of fine wines, coffees, teas, and soft drinks.

With these dining enhancements, meals are offered directly from galley to seat with no trolley service.  They have added additional cabin crew to enhance the dining experience and overall quality of personalised service throughout your flight.
