After several small-time jobs where my heart really wasn’t in it, I stumbled into a job in travel through my best friend. Cut-to 10 or so years later and I’m still here. Working in this industry has been one of the biggest constants in my life to date. I have always had a passion for travel, being half Swedish and travelling 2-3 times year to Sweden for the first 12years of my life I guess that makes sense. This industry has allowed me to see many countries and to experience many things that I’m thankful for.
With a wealth of travel experience behind me, I rely on my extensive knowledge of all things travel every day. I’m also ever so slight OCD, so my tidiness plays a part in my work life. I rarely miss a trick and I don’t make the same mistake twice. I’ve visited many countries, travelled in luxury and I’ve experienced some of the nicest hotels in the world. Yet, for me the stories that I seem to tell more often are those where the hotel was awful, the flight had horrendous turbulence and the holiday just did not go to plan. I try to incorporate this thinking into my everyday life, ups and downs will happen but the experiences will always shape your life and help define your character.
