Norway is an all year-round destination for adventure and is also perfect for outdoor lovers. But what makes Norway seen as the most sustainable and responsible of destinations? Firstly, the country’s energy is primarily powered by hydropower. Secondly, speed limits in the country are lower than many other European countries and public transport is rapidly becoming the world’s first zero-emissions network. Lastly, the capital Oslo is made up of two thirds wood and water, recently named the European Green Capital of 2019.

On the other hand, Costa Rica is a very apt runner up for sustainable and responsible destinations. It is a top destination for wellness, health, relaxation, adventure and reconnection with nature. The country is also home to over 6% of the planets biodiversity and is a pioneer in ecotourism with creations of vast national parks, wildlife reserves and conservation projects.
