Swiss International Airlines, better known as SWISS, was founded in 2002 after the bankruptcy of Switzerland’s flag carrier Swissair. They are a member of the Star Alliance and subsidiary of the German airline Lufthansa.
SWISS has their major hub at Zurich Airport (ZRH) and serves over 100 destinations in 43 countries worldwide.

SWISS has codeshare agreements with 18 select airlines both inside and outside the Star Alliance. Look for the designator code (LX).
When booking with a codesharing partner, you will experience differences in baggage fees, optional services, other charges, and policies from partner airlines on your trip.
