Rosewood Vienna
Located on the picturesque Petersplatz in the historic former Erste Group Bank building is the Rosewood. Make use of the luxurious Asaya spa, the fitness centre, beautiful Brasserie or the Pavilion event space. 99 spacious guestrooms and suites make up the elegant Rosewood accommodations. From almost every room, suite and lobby, expect a glorious view of the city with horse drawn carriages, the Hofburg palace and the green dome of St. Peter’s church within sight. Aman New York
Black velvet ropes guard the entrance to the Aman, one of the most expensive hotel openings of 2022. A three-story, 25,000 square foot spa offers upscale treatments including cryotherapy and nonsurgical facelifts. Japanese inspired artwork and flora and fauna can be found all over the hotel, from the lobby to your room or suite. On-site you can dine at either the rustic Italian Arva or Japanese inspired Nama. Be sure to make a reservation at the popular Jazz Club bar to sip Aman cocktails and muse over the city’s best musicians. The Aman New York is much more than a big city hotel, it is truly an experience.
Gleneagles Townhouse, Edinburgh
Overlooking St. Andrew’s Square is the part private members club part luxury hotel in a beautiful and historical building that was once a bank. 33 guestrooms, The Spence restaurant, The Lamplighters bar and The Counting Room private event space all feel exceptionally decadent, like residing in a grand Scottish castle. The Gleneagles brand is known for it’s spa and wellness facilities so you must venture into the state-of-the-art gym and indulge in an after treatment. The gym is situated in what was once the banks vault, the big steel vault door is no longer functional, but a great photo backdrop. While Gleneagles is a part of Accor’s Ennismore collection of lifestyle hotels, it does not accept points redemptions.
Madrid Edition
Following the successful launch of The Barcelona Edition in 2018, comes The Madrid Edition hotel opening of 2022. It is located in Madrid’s historical centre, close to most sightseeing. Australia’s first Kimpton hotel, Kimpton Margot Sydney, opened it’s doors on Valentines day 2022. With a rooftop pool, Art Deco lobby and restaurant run by one of Australia’s best-known chefs, the Kimpton Margot Sydney certainly makes a superb first impression. Whilst it is slightly out of the main touristy spots, there is still plenty on offer nearby. The manicured Hyde Park is only a stones throw. Also, the popular Royal Botanical Gardens and Sydney Opera House are still an achievable distance by foot.
