In 2022 business travel to Paris from London ranked as our seventh most booked international route. For whatever reason you may be travelling to Paris, you will want a simple and effortless business trip.  You can rely on the expertise of our business travel experts to this popular city. Explore the most booked and recommended Parisian hotels and the best way in and out of the city. Lastly, make sure you utilise your spare time in Paris with our very own time-killing suggestions.

How to Get There

Our clients typically require us to book the Eurostar for Paris, although some may still prefer to fly. There are multiple reasons for this. Firstly, the Eurostar is a more environmentally friendly option than flying, producing a much lighter carbon footprint. Trains depart and arrive right in the city centres, unlike the main London airports for example which require additional travel. Also there are no baggage restrictions on the Eurostar. You can bring all the personal belongings you require as well as any work-related equipment without worrying about extra fees or restrictions. Finally, travelling by Eurostar offers comfortable seating, Wi-Fi for working and an opportunity to admire the scenery along the way.

Those that prefer to fly benefit from an abundance of options, such as multiple outbound airports and a plethora of airlines. Our favourite for the London to Paris route, and the most commonly booked by our clients is Air France. Schedules from multiple airlines and airports to Paris also far outweigh the Eurostar schedule.

Whichever option you chose, our business travel experts can help.

What to do with your spare time in Paris

Paris is a city full of sights so we will try to keep this short!

Spare evening? Consider a peaceful sunset picnic of wine, cheese and baguette at the Trocadero Park to watch the Eiffel Tower light up and sparkle on the hour for five minutes. Alternatively, consider dinner and a show at the famous Moulin Rouge. Evening time is also what we would recommend for a stroll around the Louvre. During high season the museum is open as late as 9.45pm and the crowds are much less dense.

If you have spare hours in the day, why not consider sights such as the beautiful Sainte-Chapelle, the Place De Le Concorde and Tuilleries Gardens or the Versailles Palace and Gardens? There is also the Sacré-Coeur and if you’re feeling up to it, the 300 step climb for the views at the top.

For something a little off the beaten track consider an enchanting walk through the Parc des Buttes-Chaumont, complete with waterfalls and a suspension bridge. Alternatively, consider the quaint Saint-Pierre market near the bohemian Montmarte neighbourhood or a stroll through the unique architecture and colourful street art of the La Défense district.
