Founded in 1924, Delta Air Lines Inc. is a major United States airline with its headquarters and largest hub at Atlanta International Airport (ATL) in Atlanta, Georgia. They have 7 additional hubs throughout the US in Detroit, Los Angeles, Minneapolis/St Paul’s, New York-JFK, New York-LaGuardia, Salt Lake City, and Seattle-Tacoma.
Delta is the oldest continuously operating airline in the United States. They were originally founded as Huff-Daland Dusters - the first commercial agricultural airline in existence.
Delta serves 180 million customers across 324 destinations in 57 countries on six continents every year. They are a founding member of the Skyteam global alliance.
• In 2018, Delta was named to Fortune’s top 50 Most Admired Companies in addition to being named the most admired airline for the seventh time in eight years. Additionally, Delta has ranked No.1 in the Business Travel News Annual Airline survey for an unprecedented seven consecutive years.
• They are known as an airline of firsts - to name a few: first to move from film to video in-flight entertainment across their entire fleet in 1980, first airline to ban smoking in 1995, and first airline with an onboard recycling program in 1997.
Skymiles was founded in 1981 as the miles, dollars, and point based frequent flyer program of Delta Airlines. The airline also has a separate SkyBonus program that provides small to mid-sized business owners with a way to earn points for trips taken by employees, good towards free flights, upgrades, Silver Medallion status and other travel awards.

First Class is offered on mainline domestic flights (except those featuring Delta One service), select short- and medium-haul international flights, and Delta Connection aircraft with more than 50 seats
Seats range from 18.5 to 20.75 inches (47.0 to 52.7 cm) wide and have between 37 and 40 inches (94 and 102 cm) of pitch
Passengers in this class receive a wider variety of free snacks compared to Main Cabin, as well as free drinks and alcohol, and full meal service on flights 900 miles (1,400 km) and longer
Certain aircraft also feature power-ports at each seat and free entertainment products from Delta Studio
