Founded in 1993, Oman Air is the national airline for Oman, with hubs at Muscat (MCT) and Salalah (SLL) International Airports. It is owned by the government of Oman and is not a member of any global airline alliance.
Oman Air operates a network of 50 destinations in 27 countries with a focus on India. In compliance with Islamic dietary laws, all meals served onboard are prepared according to Halal guidelines.
• At the World Travel Awards 2017 Oman Air won “World’s Leading Airline – Economy Class” and was also named the winner in the World’s Ultimate Service Award in Hospitality.
Sindbad is Oman Air’s frequent flyer program, which works in partnership with Etihad and a number of commercial partners.
The program is miles based and works on a fairly traditional three tiered system:

Oman Air offers codesharing with 13 airlines both inside and outside the Star Alliance. Look for the designator code (WY).
