Qantas Airways, also known as ‘The Flying Kangaroo’, is the national flag carrier for Australia.  Their headquarters is in Sydney, with a main hub at Sydney Airport (SYD) and 4 additional hubs in Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide, and Perth. They are a founding OneWorld global alliance member.

Qantas’ international First Class Cabin in the A380 aircrafts is spacious and beautifully designed with 14 suites in a 1-1-1 layout.  Each seat is 22” wide and converts to a lie flat bed that is 6 feet 7 inches long.  The cabin is cream coloured with wooden accents and dark flooring.

Before You Arrive

Qantas offers ‘chauffeur drive’, a complimentary transfer service for First customers on eligible international Qantas operated flights.  Let your dedicated driver take you directly to the fast track lane for speedy immigration, priority boarding, and baggage claim.

You’ll also get access to the spacious and luxurious First Lounge along with any OneWorld alliance lounges across the globe.

Private Suite

Your private suite features a fully flat, extra-wide bed including pillows, blankets, and duvet all on a sheepskin mattress.  You will be provided with noise cancelling headphones, Martin Grant designed pyjamas, and slippers to make your journey as comfortable as possible.

Each flight begins with a welcome glass of champagne and light snacks including nuts and olives.  Your Sommeliers in the Sky will provide you with award-winning wine along with beer, spirits, non alcoholic beverages and premium tea and espresso.

First passengers benefits from a flavourful Neil Perry-inspired tasting menu (featuring caviar, seafood, fruit plates, and decadent desserts)  and a la carte meal service throughout the flight.

Each seat comes equip with power outlets, USB and HDMI ports, a personal telephone and a 17” HD monitor with touchscreen remote for inflight entertainment.  You will also receive a luxury Martin Grant amenity bag with padded eye mask and spa rituals bath products.

You can also follow the iconic silver staircase to the upper deck, where you’ll find a self-service bar and mixed use first and mini business class lounge.
