Andy Cheale

With over 10 years of experience in the retail and construction industry, joining the Your Travel brand, I can now add the travel industry to that list. After gaining my BSc in Forensic Computing, I started my professional career in programming before stepping into the IT Infrastructure side. Over the years I found a real passion for delivering security improvements, risk management and compliance. Having led the establishment, implementation, maintenance and continual improvement of the international standard ISO27001 ISMS is one of the achievements I am most proud of in my professional career so far. Other notable achievements include delivering cost effective and efficiency-oriented solutions and supporting the adaptation of new technologies.

In recent years, my holiday experiences have leant towards family destinations with a young family. I have always had a bug for exploring cities and historical destination types. I’ve been lucky enough to see the aurora borealis in the arctic circle and explore coral reefs in the Red Sea. My dream destinations I hope to tick off the list soon are the Pyramids at Giza, exploring the ancient Egyptian ruins and Japan to experience the varied and fascinating culture.
