A Stay at the Pan Pacific Singapore

Pan Pacific Singapore

The Pan Pacific Singapore may be a hidden gem in Singapore, but this hotel is incredible, perfect for business travellers. It is in the city centre at the heart of Marina Square, Suntec City and Millenia Walk Shopping Complex. It is the only hotel with covered access to Singapore International Convention and Exhibition Centre.  I only stayed here for one night as a flight delay made me lose my first night here, but in the short space of time I was at the Pan Pacific Singapore my stay was very comfortable.

Rooms

The room I stayed in was called the Panoramic Room, located on the upper levels of the hotel. The room itself was both sophisticated and modern, decorated in a neutral colour with wooden accents. The king bed was super comfortable and provided a great night sleep, especially with the blackout blinds, I woke up feeling refreshed.

The luxurious marble bathroom had Hans Grohe fittings and signature rain shower along with a deep Kaldewei bathtub perfect for relaxing after a long-haul flight. There are also integrated speakers so you can enjoy music from the bathroom.

For refreshments, there is a fully-stocked e-fridge. Now you may be wondering what an e-fridge is and I didn’t know either prior to staying at the Pan Pacific Singapore. The e-fridge holds all the items on their own pressure pads so as soon as you remove one of those items, if you don’t put it back within 30 seconds it charges your room for said item. One thing that I did find a great concept was the handy phone. The handy phone is complimentary for those staying in Panoramic Rooms or higher categories. It is a phone that offers unlimited mobile internet and international calls to 15 countries, perfect if you are exploring the city as you can take it out and about.

The rooms at The Pan Pacific Singapore range from the leading room as a Deluxe Room to the Skyline Suite located on the uppermost levels of the hotel.

Pacific Club Rooms and Suites

If you are looking for exclusive privileges then staying in a Pacific Club room is worth it. You gain access to the Pacific Club at Level 38 during the day, where you can enjoy a Champagne breakfast, afternoon tea, evening cocktails and canapes. Pacific Club guests also receive a pillow menu, two pieces of pressing and laundry per night, late check-out and complimentary non-alcoholic beverages from the in-room mini bar. For Pacific Club guests staying in the Pacific Skyline Suites, Harbour Suites or at the Presidential Suite they receive arrival and departure limousine service.

Food & Drink

The Pan Pacific Singapore is home to the longest bar in town, the Atrium, which serves delicious tapas, fine wines, craft beer and speciality cocktails. Edge, is an interactive dining space offering a wide range of food stations, as well as serving breakfast in the mornings. The Pan Pacific Singapore also has a variety of speciality restaurants such as Hai Tien Lo (Cantonese cuisine), Keyaki Japanese Restaurant and Rang Mahal (Northern Indian cuisine). In addition to all the delectable restaurants, you can also grab light bites from the Pacific Marketplace and the Poolside Bar, as well as ordering from the in-room menu.

Facilities and Services

Guests can enjoy full access to the facilities at The Pan Pacific Singapore. You can take a dip in the outdoor swimming pool to cool off from the humid weather that Singapore experiences. The 24-hour fitness centre with steam rooms and tennis courts is there to maintain your wellbeing. If you are looking to indulge and pamper yourself then why not head to the award-winning St Gregory spa. The spa offers authentic Chinese therapies, a wide range of face and body treatments for the ultimate relaxation.

The Pan Pacific Singapore really was a delight to stay at and I can highly recommend the hotel as a base if you have business arrangements in Singapore. It oozes luxury and elegance and is just a short 5-minute walk to Marina Bay.
