Singapore Airlines – SilverKris Business Lounge at Changi International Airport (SIN)

Singapore Airlines is the flag carrier of Singapore with its hub at Singapore Changi Airport (SIN). They are a member of the Star Alliance and make exclusively long haul flights.

The SilverKris Lounge is comprised of two smaller lounges reserved for Star Alliance and First and Business Class passengers. Plus the aptly named ‘Private Room’ found within the First Class Lounge.

Here’s a quick guide to everything the SIN SilverKris Business Lounge has to offer:

Location:        Passenger Terminal Building Two Level 3, North Wing Unit 036-133 (Near Gate E)

Hours:            5:00am – Midnight

Ambience

The lounge is designed with a mix of marble flooring and accents with plush carpeting in muted browns, yellows, and purples to create a living room type feel with soft ambient lighting. The common area is in a relaxed arrangement with large leather armchairs, tables and lamps.  Soft music plays throughout the lounge to play up the calmness you are meant to feel as you relax.

There is also a business zone with dedicated Mac computer pod-style stations, and a ‘quiet’ zone with long banquettes and armchairs for relaxation.

Dining

Highlights include a full afternoon tea service and all-day Charles Heidsieck champagne.  There is a wide selection of liquors in the bar area and an espresso station with sandwiches, cookies and other quick bites.

The meals are served buffet style and rotated throughout the day with a wide variety of Western and Asian options, along with cold bars for fruit and salads.

Features and Amenities

As with most business class lounges, large flat screens showing live sports and news and international magazine and newspapers are sprinkled around the lounge.

Other features include private shower rooms with amenities and super-fast Wi-Fi and outlets for working on the go.
