EVA Air is a Taiwanese airline founded in 1989 with hubs at Taipei Taoyuan (TPE) and Sonshan (TSA) Airports.  They currently hold an impressive 5-star airline rating by Skytrax in addition to being renowned for their premium level of service.

The Royal Laurel Class or Business Class cabin is configured in a reverse herringbone 1-2-1 formation across 11 rows in two sections separated by a galley.  The design is a subtle but sleek metallic and purple finish with understated accents, practical amenities and ample storage space.

Before You Arrive

You will move quickly through security and check-in with exclusive counters, board first, and enjoy access to EVA Air’s VIP airport lounges.  You’ll also enjoy more baggage allowance and priority baggage loading and unloading.

As soon as you arrive on board, you will be greeted and personally attended to with a welcome drink, chocolate treat, and hot towel.

Features and Amenities

Your pod features a fully lie-flat bed with pillow and comfortable duvet.  You’ll find thoughtful spaces to hang your jacket, store shoes, and even a cocktail table. Each guest receives pyjamas, slippers, and eye mask and exclusive noise cancelling headphones.

In-flight entertainment on a HD touchscreen, USB ports, phone chargers, and power outlets give you an endless array of options to unwind or get some work done in the sky.

You will also receive a luxury amenity kit with toiletries, professional skin care brands, and earplugs.

Dining

EVA Air offers an array of international dining menus to suit your desires.  Their extensive menu includes a range of starters, special meals, dessert, breads, coffee and tea.  There is also instant noodles and Haagan-Dazs ice cream available.  You can pre-order your meal up to three weeks ahead of your flight.

The airline has also won many awards for its extensive wine and champagne collections that are at your fingertips. Including 2016 Gold Medal for Best Business Class Cellar (Cellars in the Sky Awards) and the 2017 Best Business Class Sparkling collection.
