EVA Air Infinity and Star (Business Class) Lounge at Taiwan Taoyuan (TPE)
EVA Air is a Taiwanese airline with hubs at Taipei Taoyuan (TPE) and Sonshan (TSA) Airports. It was founded in 1989 and joined the Star Alliance in 2013. EVA has achieved an impressive 5-star airline rating by Skytrax.
Their Business Class lounges at TPE are called the Infinity & Star. The Infinity is a true Business Class Lounge whereas the Star is accessible by Business travellers and Star Alliance Members travelling in Economy.
Infinity and Star are two of four sprawling lounges (others are The Garden and The Club). The Infinity is a gorgeous, futuristic oasis for travellers that features everything from a robot butler to a full nursery to a business centre.
Here’s a quick guide to everything the EVA Air Infinity and Star Lounges have to offer:
Location: Terminal 2, one level above main concourse
Hours: 4:30am – 11:30pm
Features and Amenities
The Infinity has a disco vibe with changing LED artistic light patterns and chrome finishing throughout. In contrast, The Star is more laid back, with more traditional lounge decor and partitions to separate seating areas.
At the Infinity you’ll find a business centre with desktop computers, free WiFi and personal telephones to make work on the road a breeze. There are also full private shower rooms, tons of entertainment options (televisions, magazines, newspapers, etc.), and several seating areas with leather armchairs, couches, and booths.
The Star has a similar but less private workstation area with the same amenities. There are private washrooms but no showers, the same entertainment offerings, and similar (although smaller) seating areas with leather recliners.
Dining
The two lounges offer near identical buffets with major focus on Asian fare – with everything from Vietnamese pho soup to egg tarts, bar buns, fancy hot dogs and much more.
There is a huge self-serve bar in each with beer, wine, and spirits and a huge juice, tea, and coffee selection.
You can also top off your meal with Movenpick ice cream at the Infinity, or Haagan-Dazs at the Star.
