Etihad Business Class Cabin – A380Etihad Airways is the flag carrier and government owned airline of the United Arab Emirates, with a global hub at Abu Dhabi International Airport (AUH). Etihad’s excellent products and service have earned it the title of “World’s Leading Airline” at the World Travel Awards every year since 2009.  

Their A380 Business Class Cabin is on the upper deck of the aircraft and is comprised of 2 sections with 11 rows and 7 rows respectively, in a 1-2-1  configuration. Each seat converts to a lie flat bed between 73” in length and 20” wide. The cabin is beige with purple and metallic touches, leather upholstered with open pod-style seating.

Features and Amenities

Before you arrive onboard you are invited to enjoy the Etihad Premium Lounge in Abu Dhabi, with the luxurious ‘Six Senses Spa’ experience, extensive dining options, and private work areas. Priority customs, boarding, and baggage is also provided.

Your ‘studio’ is equipped with mood lighting and in-seat massage function controlled with a touch remote.  There is also a personal touchscreen entertainment system, USB ports and universal power outlet. You also have a personal electronic window shade for either reduced lighting or total darkness on your journey.

Each guest receives a luxury amenity kit from Acqua di Parma, featuring italian skincare products and other comfort items (socks, shaving kit, etc.).

The Lobby

Every A380 is equipped with a common social area in the Business cabin.  This is a circular bar area with plush leather seating and tables for guests to mingle and enjoy beverage and a snack.  This area is inspired by the Arabian concept of ‘Majlis’ – a room for entertaining guests in the home.

Dining

Etihad has a ‘Dine Anytime’ menu with international cuisine and a personal food and beverage manager for each passenger.  This is true a la carte dining experience in the air with excellent service, plating, and quality meals. Although the Emirati culture avoid alcohol, there is a seperate alcoholic beverage menu also available any time that includes beer, wine, spirits, and champagne.
