Our clientele often seek business hotels in Bangkok, the bustling Asian city with a strong financial and commercial hub. The business district in Bangkok is typically defined as the areas of Silom, Lumphini and Early Sukhumvit, as shown opposite. Silom is the financial centre of the city and is often known as ‘The Wall Street of Thailand’. Large global organisations such as AstraZeneca, CBRE and Korn Ferry have Thailand offices within the business district.
Here are Your Travel’s top five business hotels in Bangkok, within or close to the business district.

AETAS Lumpini

1030/4 Rama IV Rd, Khwaeng Si Yaek Maha Nak, Sathon, Bangkok 10120, Thailand

The AETAS lumpini hotel holds a prime central location in the centre of the business district. It enjoys a slightly quieter location, only steps away from an underground station and the beautiful Lumphini park. The executive club lounge is located on the 28th floor, where guests can receive exclusive privileges. A pool and fitness centre are accessible on the 9th floor. An abundance of event space, terraces and boardrooms catering to any specification are also available at the AETAS lumpini.

Rooms are contemporary and spacious at 42sqm, with a workstation and complimentary WiFi. However, this hotel really excels in premium accommodation and suites. From the Junior suite at 52sqm to the Presidential suite at 160sqm, additional space and living areas with plenty of natural light are on offer. Most of the suites benefit from fantastic sweeping views of the city and the greenery of the nearby park. For a truly unique experience opt for the Premiere suite. After a long working day, you can unwind in a jacuzzi bath with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the city.

The Westin Grande Sukhumvit

259 Sukhumvit Rd, Khwaeng Khlong Toei Nuea, Watthana, Bangkok 10110, Thailand

This Marriott hotel is in an ideal position for travellers on the move. It is directly opposite the BTS Asok skytrain station and only a few steps from the MRT subway station at Sukhumvit. The Westin Grande is also one of the best business hotels in Bangkok for meetings, with over 14 venues and a total space of 1,725 square metres. Two restaurants and a sleek bar and terrace are available for dining, entertaining or a simple nightcap.

The Westin Grande is a fantastic investment if a good nights sleep is your priority. The hotels ‘heavenly beds’ are a unique design that promotes comfort, support and a restorative sleep. All rooms and suites offer a workstation, telephone with voicemail and high speed WiFi.
The hotel also features an outdoor swimming pool, spa, fitness centre and workout rooms. Guests on the executive floor can benefit from complimentary breakfasts, tea and cocktails. The latest makeover of the hotel has introduced incredible mood lighting throughout, including blends of warm oranges into calming purples. The only (albeit small) gripe is the lobby being on the 7th floor.

lebua at State Tower

State Tower Bangkok, 1055 Si Lom, Silom, Bang Rak, Bangkok 10500, Thailand

lebua at State Tower has received worldwide recognition and was most recently appointed as the ‘Number 1 Hotel in Bangkok’ at the 2019 Travel & Leisure Awards. The lebua has also been voted ‘One Of The Best Hotels For Business Travel’ in the Readers Choice Awards. lebua is certainly more on the luxurious side, only offering elegant suites with sweeping city views. Each suite has a separate living area and bathroom with both walk in shower and a bath. All suites benefit from a balcony from which to enjoy the cityscape.

Travellers arriving at lebua strictly for business will be thankful for the desk, high speed WiFi and telephone with voicemail. There is a room available for any event, whether that’s an intimate meeting, mid-scale conference or extensive gala. Should you be entertaining colleagues or associates, then the lebua has plenty to offer. lebua is home to the city’s highest rooftop bar, Sky Bar, and Sirocco, Bangkok’s highest alfresco restaurant serving Mediterranean cuisine. There are also six other bars, lounges and restaurants to indulge in. On the ‘M’ floor is a spa, fitness centre and an open-air swimming pool.

Four Points by Sheraton

4 Sukhumvit Soi 15 Sukhumvit Road, Klongtoey-Nua, Wattana, Klongtoey, Nua, Bangkok 10110, Thailand

The Four Points Sheraton hotel is our best pick 4* business hotel in Bangkok, offering better value but with plenty of 5* expectations. Travelling around Bangkok, or indeed the business district, where this hotel resides, is a breeze with the nearby BTS Skytrain station. A 24-hour gym is ideal for business travellers to keep up with exercise and wellbeing around the working day. The hotel is also home to an outdoor pool, a rooftop bar, Irish Pub and all-day restaurant. Multiple rooms or event space is available for conferences, galas or meetings, some including courtyards.

Just like the Westin, the Four Points by Sheraton is a prime choice for a good nights sleep. The trademarked ‘Four Points’ bed was part of a $13million investment by Sheraton in 2005 to improve customer comfort. Rooms are decorated in neutral hues, with floor to ceiling windows allowing in floods of natural light. All rooms feature workspaces, high speed internet and voicemail and speaker phone. Suites come with additional space, living areas and in some cases, private terraces from which to enjoy a sunset or sunrise.

The Peninsula

333 Charoen Nakhon Rd, Khlong San, Bangkok 10600, Thailand

The Peninsula is a luxurious, 5* riverside hotel adjacent to the business district and the Silom and Sathon roads. At The Peninsula, even the smaller rooms are richly furnished. Think marble, indulgent bathrooms, and rooms draped in Thai silks and teak furnishings. Most rooms have exceptional views over the Chao Phraya River and beyond. Business travellers can revel in the in-room technology available. Teak workstations include complimentary high-speed internet, three telephones (two IDD), state-of-the-art sound system, and a world clock. The suites are a complete upgrade on luxury and space in unique designs. Some feature burnished gold ceilings, others are multi-level, include terraces or even telescopes to indulge further in the city views.

To unwind, you could utilise the holistic spa, rejuvenate with a thorough workout at the fitness centre or dive into the outdoor pool. At The Peninsula you are spoilt for choice with several bar and restaurant dining options as well as in-room catering. Thiptara Restaurant, River Café and Terrace and the River Bar each offer stunning riverside tables among lush tropical gardens. The in-house team of event staff and planners can help to transform any of the hotel function rooms and spaces into the ideal setting for your meeting, conference or gala catering from 30 to over 800 guests.
