Climb the Burj Khalifa

Not only is the Burj Khalifa the world’s tallest building it also features the world’s highest outdoor observation deck, giving you the chance to soak in those spectacular views at an impressive height.
The Burj Khalifa is a short drive from the airport (approx 20 mins) To avoid long queues you can pre book your tickets online.


The Dubai Fountain Show

Dance with the fountains and immerse yourself in a captivating performance. Staged by illuminated lights, powerful water jets synchronised to contemporary pop, classic and Arabic music. 
The show is free and runs every 30 minutes from 6pm-11pm.
If you did want to get close and personal then there are a couple of viewing options at a fee. The traditional Arabic boat (abra) trip is 30 minutes along the Burj Khalifa Lake. The floating viewing platform allows you to walk 10 metres from the fountain jets.

You may just want some shut eye during your stopover, if so then Sleep ‘n fly lounge offers a wide range of short-term sleeping solutions. Their cleverly designed state of the art sleep pods all offer comfort, privacy and a hot or cold towel during wake-up service. Pay by the hour allows you to get enough kip without overspending. All sleep pods are located inside the airport terminal, so passengers do not require an additional visa and pass immigration.
