Qatar Airways new lounge at Heathrow T4 has officially opened this month. The new Frequent Flyer lounge is situated on level two opposite gate six (below the airlines existing Premium Lounge). You may have already passed by or into it thanks to a soft launch over the summer. The Frequent Flyer lounge is the airlines first to be launched outside of it’s Doha airport headquarters. In addition to the new lounge, Qatar Airways has also unveiled a new premium check in.

Learn more about Qatar Airways here.

New Premium check in

The Qatar Airways dedicated Premium check in area is exclusively for first and business class travellers from Heathrow. It provides these travellers the opportunity to relax with a beverage whilst check in procedures take place. This might be just the ticket considering the chaos and hustle and bustle at gates across the world so far this year.

Qatar Airways Frequent Flyer lounge

The new Frequent Flyer lounge is open 5am – 10pm daily. Visitors can tuck into a hot or cold buffet whilst overlooking the runway. In addition, you may simply wish to use the peaceful and plush lounge to catch up on admin. Welcome to the lounge are all business and first passengers as well as Qatar Airways Privilege Club Gold and Platinum members. Additionally, Oneworld Sapphire and Oneworld Emerald members can also access the Qatar Airways Frequent Flyer lounge. Guests are welcome only alongside somebody with eligible access.

We are proud to be opening our first Frequent Flyer lounge outside of Doha, offering passengers across the oneworld Alliance network an oasis of calm and comfort in one of the world’s busiest airports. Qatar Airways are committing to serving passengers travelling from Heathrow with world-class facilities. We hope they will enjoy the warm Qatari hospitality offered at the new FFP Lounge and Premium Check-in area.
