Virgin Atlantic’s Revamped A330-200’s

Virgin Atlantic are a British airline, operating since 1984, with international headquarters in Crawley, England. The airline giant is widely reviewed and have been recognized in the 2018 Tripadvisor awards as winners of two categories; Best Major Airline (Europe) and Best Premium Economy (Europe). With innovation to improve the customer experience at the heart of what they do, Virgin Atlantic have put into motion a refurbishment of their four Airbus A330-200’s as part of a £10m investment.

The Upper Class Experience

As part of the transformation all upper class passengers will be able to select from a special barista style coffee menu and receive free messaging. There is also an improved amenity kit which features their latest collaboration with ‘Happy Socks’. The upper class consists of 19 fully flat beds in three unique seat styles for customers to choose from.

The Love Suite: Centre cabin and ideal for couples, friends or family. Great if you wish to be in a closer proximity to dine or watch movies together.

The Solo Corner Suite: Offers customers extra privacy and optimal views.

The Solo Freedom Suite: Allows customers to unwind and stretch out with direct aisle access.

The New Styling

All four aircraft have been retrofitted with the popular Premium cabin, as well as a refreshed look for Economy. The 35 Premium seats are set in a dedicated private cabin, with bespoke food and drink offerings and a 38” seat pitch. All cabins have been refreshed with new carpets and curtains, stylish mood lighting and improved lavatories.

As expected across Virgin Atlantic flights, high speed WiFi, power in every seat and fantastic service from the award winning cabin crew all remain as standard. You can also continue to expect the latest onboard entertainment, amounting to over 300 hours of film, TV and music.

Creative Resins has been at the forefront of decorative glass technology for over 30 years. When Louise contacted us to help with a trip to Oman, we discovered that the company had been using an airline’s website to book direct, paying in excess of £5,000 per trip in Business Class. This created a stress-free booking system that took budget and organisational pressure from the senior management, knowing they would always be working with a cost-effective travel budget. This lead to a reduced travel spend of just over 16% without cost-cutting and maintaining a high level of service.
