Between all three room types you can expect private balconies, workstations, Nespresso machines and rain showers.

Suites benefit from an additional 12 square metres of living space to relax or work from. The suites are lavish in natural wood furnishings and leather and each have access to the Fairmont Gold Lounge.

The Fairmont also boasts 13 bars and restaurants offering numerous culinary delights and settings. The Willow Stream Spa at the Fairmont is one of Asia’s largest spas, an ideal spot to unwind after a long day of meetings. Speaking of which, meeting rooms, conference or event space is certainly not lacking. At the Raffles City Convention centre there is more than 108,000 square feet of space, including 34 meeting rooms and ballrooms.

Shangri-La Singapore

Although this Singapore hotel is slightly further afield, if you are looking for luxury and respite this may well be the choice for you. The business district is approximately 25 minutes away by taxi and the airport is also a similar journey time away.

The Shangri-La offers 792 guestrooms and suites set amongst 15 acres of lush greenery. With 11 restaurants and bars, a spa and the famous shopping district Orchard Road only a short walk away, there is nothing short to do. If you require event space, the hotel can offer intimate meeting spaces for up to 10 or banquets accommodating 1,000. A grand total of 60,000 square feet is available and the hotel’s professionals can cater to all requirements.

Accommodations are set across three different wings, the Tower wing, Garden wing and Valley Wing. Deluxe rooms are typically 50sqm and either city facing or garden facing. Suites are typically one bedroom but can interconnect for family accommodation upto 3 rooms. Some Shangri La suites benefit from extensive balconies with a private jacuzzi. The Valley wing is the most prestigious and offers additional, private services for luxury travellers.

Fullerton Singapore

The Fullerton Singapore Hotel is a beautiful neoclassical landmark built in 1928. It resides just minutes from the central business district of the city and enjoys incredible views of the marina.

There are dozens of room types available at The Fullerton, dependent on size and view type. Rooms range from 35sqm to 71sqm and the views include marina, city, pool, atrium or river. Suites range from 65sqm and 93sqm. The only exceptions are The Loft suite covering 103sqm and The Presidential suite with a magnificent 201sqm of space. Raffles Singapore

The newly restored, iconic Raffles Singapore hotel is a luxurious and dependable choice for a 5* stay. Being adjacent to the Fairmont, Raffles benefits from exactly the same prime location, only a twenty minute journey from the airport and central to all Singapore business districts.

Guests at Raffles have use of up to 2,500 square metres of event space in beautiful colonial décor. The Raffles spa is available to guests as well as members of the public and can be found in the Raffles Arcade. Alternatively, you may wish to wind down with an exceptional meal and nightcap at any one of the 9 restaurants and bars.

Each suite at Raffles oozes opulence. Even the smallest (the studio suites) are 46 square metres of space including a king size bed and verandah over the palm garden. Larger suites benefit from a massive 150 square metres of space, including large living, pamper and working areas. The largest of all are the two Presidential suites. Each spans 260 square metres and have additional spaces such as walk in wardrobes and personal pantries. It is found just across the bay from The Fullerton, meaning it shares a pivotal spot minutes from the CBD. The building itself is shaped like the brands iconic fan and it boasts exceptional views of the marina also.

The Mandarin Oriental has plenty on offer for those requiring function space. As well as numerous spaces, ‘mindful meetings’ is a new and progressive approach available from the hotel to help inspire attendees and ensure focus in order to increase productivity. After a busy day in the city you may wish to relax at the spa or release energy in the well equipped gym. Personal training and yoga classes are also available.
