PremiAir, the new private terminal at Manchester airport has officially opened. Passengers travelling through Manchester airport (inbound or outbound) now have the option to bypass the busy main terminals completely. Consequently, PremiAir is the solution that can give travellers on 23 commercial airlines a private jet experience.
The PremiAir terminal is available to any passenger, regardless of destination or class of travel. There are four price packages available, ranging from £50 to £175. Some of the services you can expect are a personal welcome, secure parking, luggage handling, use of the facilities and therefore complimentary food and drink. Additionally, you will receive private security channels and chauffeured drives between your aircraft and the terminal. Further upgrades are also available to those purchasing the most premium package.
The lounge itself comprises of floor to ceiling windows with runway views and benefits from free Wifi throughout. Additionally, there are plenty of armchairs and tables with plug socket access. Tea and coffee stations are also available to quench thirst and meals can be ordered a la carte.
PremiAir is part of a huge £1 billion overall renovation and expansion project to Manchester Airport. The airport claim to be the first UK major hub to offer a facility of this kind, stating that lounges are often too restricted to class or airlines. The 23 current airline partners include:
